Trying Again

Well, we went to the Animal Shelter today with the plan to find a dog that already had at least two parvo shots. Sarah found one that had three shots that she loved.

I don't think that Sarah is going to be able to carry this dog for too much longer.


We stopped on the way home and bought a crate, collar, leash, dishes and totally forgot dog food. Thankfully, they gave us some food at the shelter. Obviously I have shopping to do tonight.

The dog is a great dane/catahoula mix. They assured me that the mom was a small great dane (if there is such a thing!). The personalities on the two dogs are so different so we will see what we get. Either way we are starting on training now.

John will be home in about an hour so we are looking forward to a great weekend.
