(Let me preface this by saying that I do not believe that you have to be a Christian to be a good foster home)
I had the opportunity to spend some one on one time with "Lily" (My 6 year old daughter).
At the doctors office....
Lily: Momma, the last home I was in we didn't go to church.
Me: Oh
Lily: They didn't believe in Jesus.
Me: Oh
Lily: We go to church.
Me: Yes
Lily: We believe in Jesus
Me: Yes
Lily: Do you think Jesus wanted me to be in a home where we believed in Him?
Maybe that's exactly what he wanted sweet girl. And he wanted you in THIS home.
