Day 3

Typically we eat our breakfasts in the hotel before we leave for our day, it is free.  However, Sarah has been wanting to try Tim Horton's so we went there for breakfast. The kids really liked it.

We had purchased the Niagara Falls Discovery Pass online a while back. We turned in our voucher for our tickets and decided to start with the Maid of the Mist activity (the boat ride).

After that experience it will be a long time before I take Benjamin on a boat.  Once out on the water he decided that he wanted to be in the water.  He kicked off his shoes and put his feet over the railing to jump in.  Naturally I was holding him and he wasn't going to go in for a swim.  Once he realized that he wasn't going in he proceeded to show everyone on the boat his red headed fierce temper.

We survived the boat and decided to head over to the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center.  We figured that would be safe.  We walked along the river and had a great view of the Rainbow Bridge over to Canada.

The Discovery Center was small and didn't take long to see so we went to the Aquarium of Niagara.

The aquarium was small and didn't take long to see either.  We headed back to the hotel for munch and to determine if we should take Benjamin to the Cave of the Winds activity.

After a break we decided to brave that activity with the little one in tow.  I prepared him ahead of time for what would happen and about the water.  He did great.  We were glad we decided to take him.

The Cave of the Winds gave a different view of the falls.

The kids said that of all the activities, The Cave of the Winds was their favorite.

Most of them got soaked.  Anthony somehow stayed dry.  After leaving the water we went to dinner and then to hotel to back up. Our time at Niagara Falls was over.  We had a great time and I was glad that I was able to share this experience with them.
