I don't know what it is about our couch but at least once a month I have to pull it out for cleaning. It is amazing how much stuff gets found at that time. I grab a broom and sweep everything to one big pile. The kids are told to pick their stuff up or it will go in the trash. They have learned that I mean what I say but they are so slow about the picking up. It is as though they are in a competition to see if they can pick up the least.
I occasionally sit on the couch to watch TV, otherwise I would wonder why we needed one. What are your hot spots for messes? This is just one of ours.
I know I don't understand how that happens it's like they are just there to collect random things... We also have to add about about two pounds or so of dog hair or s under there too.
ReplyDeleteI think there must be a monster that lives in our couch and it sends out tentacles to retrieve things left on the floor. Because, seriously...where does all that junk come from!!
ReplyDeleteI don't have as much of a problem under my couch (except dust bunnies and the like) but any flat surface in my house collects junk quicker than I can clean it off. Every table, counter, shelf, etc. Drives me nuts!

DeleteI need a second kitchen table so we can actually eat a ,meal without the extra effort of moving everything to the bench first.
