I wasn't mad at her. I knew that allowing her to play outside could very well end with this result. Thankfully picking the teens up from church did not require leaving the car! We had just gotten in from therapy so she looked clean before going out. I had talked to the therapist about how quickly she gets dirty and about all the bruises and scratches she gets. Ha, I emailed the picture to the therapist (where we were an hour before) and she responded with a "wow, you weren't kidding!" Yes, I can see her sitting outside the principals office one day looking like that girl in Norman Rockwell's painting.
She totally reminds me a particular Norman Rockwell painting--the girl in trouble sitting outside the principal's office. Google it and see!

I just busted out laughing! This is such a CLASSIC kid shot, one you'll look back on and enjoy for many years to come. I love it!
