I love your blog because you are very honest about adoption/foster care and the difficulties with each. I also think you are just AMAZING because you have your mother living with you and tons of grandchildren etc. and yet you keep on motoring. If you ever make things with your art work, I hope you offer them for sale because I would be first in line.
Somehow I started reading when my son was little and you were in the early days of fostering Kassi, Michelle, & Emma before you adopted them. (Were you on BlogFrog maybe?) I knew we wanted to adopt older children one day and it was the first time I'd heard of attachment disorder. I believe God led me to your blog to help me as we now walk through our own journey with RAD. But I also love seeing your amazing projects and the dance photos and stuff. I enjoy seeing creativity, though I'm not creative at all myself.
Adoptive mom from MI, a few years further down the road from you. Lived through RAD and FAE before they had names. Were told if you love them enough you, it will over come all the influence from before they were yours. Does this say if your adopted kids have trouble, you didn't love them enough?
I started following you many years ago when we were having problems with a RAD child (He ended up not being able to stay with us). I've loved watching your family grow and overcome so much. I love your honesty and creativity. We're in Louisville KY. -Timber D
