No doubt it may take the kids a while to process too, but there's no doubt that accepting is so much better for them than denying. How nice for your two! UPM's adopted son's mother came to his adoption party with a friend of hers. She worked so hard to help her boys make that transition. I like how you deal with what you call their parents and how you handle it. artcarheatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15639172920413317313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6980635032314035803.post-24188268995306029492014-04-10T19:28:16.095-05:002014-04-10T19:28:16.095-05:00That is wonderful, I hope to be the same kind of f...That is wonderful, I hope to be the same kind of foster mom that you are when I'm licensed.readergirl925https://www.blogger.com/profile/04522799015361187855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6980635032314035803.post-54896653418697709712014-04-10T15:00:29.974-05:002014-04-10T15:00:29.974-05:00So special! When my kiddos visit with their other mom they dont really understand that she gave birth to them (just because they are to young) but there is a connection, a comfort, when they are all together. My kids are not afraid to go up and give her a hug and a kiss, like they would be with a stranger. It is quite amazing...<br />http://lifeafteryouadoptafosterchild.blogspot.com/2014/04/lets-get-caught-up.htmlMerihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08421167612010079034noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6980635032314035803.post-11904237111355719432014-04-10T08:01:40.664-05:002014-04-10T08:01:40.664-05:00I love that the kids got to see them. But as you know, it's not possible in our case. What a huge blessing all the way around!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09162886952409030763noreply@blogger.com
